On 1st and 2nd July 2023, the Morris Minor Owners Club of Great Britain held their National Rally, this year marking the 75th anniversary of the Minor. The event was held at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich, with hundreds of Minors in attendance. The Shropshire branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club held an event at Highley Station on the Severn Valley Railway on 14th May 2023. Amongst the vehicles present was a 1953 Minor van with period repairs made with Castrol cans. I believe that the intention was to leave the car in its present condition rather than restore it.
